Senior Journalists Say Goodbye

JerEcho Editor-in-chief and three-year New Media Communications class member Chloe Shakin will attend the University of Pennsylvania in the fall and plans on majoring in English with a minor in journalism. Shakin said that her favorite part of the life-changing class is seeing younger students eager to learn. “It makes me so happy that other students are getting out of the class what I took from it,” she said.

  1. I love this! You should all be proud of yourselves for developing a deeper passion for local news and for the art of writing like a journalist! Very impressed;) There’s so much apathy among students these days; it’s nice to see that some still stand up and care about the newspaper!
