As of today, March 19, March Madness has officially begun and will continue through April 6. The Jericho community is already hooked, and I am no exception.
Duke is the current favorite with +330 odds, followed by Michigan who is +360, and Arizona, who are +380. The three teams with the worst odds are, in my opinion, Hofstra, Miami Ohio, and Prairie View A&M Panthers.
Some dark horses of March Madness are Iowa State, Wisconsin, and Arkansas, who are all very capable of achieving a very deep run in March.
Each year, there is always a Cinderella story in March Madness. This year, in my opinion, it is the Akron Zips. Another team that could go very far is the BYU Cougars, as they have players like AJ Dybantsa, who averages 25.3 points per game, leading the country in scoring.
I think UConn is going to win based off their experience: 15-5 in March and 2-0 in championship games.
