Students Stand Against Segregation

Now in its third year, Project L.E.A.D. unites students from Jericho, Uniondale and South Side high schools to increase tolerance and combat segregation on Long Island.

  1. Wonderful! In Greensboro, NC there is a group called NCCJ of the Triad. They put together events like ANYDAY (school level) and ANYTOWN (district-wide). They are tremendous at what they do.

    The school systems here are different as they are mainly county-wide not just town specific.
    Interestingly, our superintendent Dr. Contreras, I believe is from Uniondale.

    Thank you for putting all of this together.
