This year’s varsity fencing team was filled with younger players who are ready and eager to take over when the team’s seniors, who made up the majority of the team, depart.
With a squad composed of 19 seniors, 6 juniors, 5 sophomores and even 6 freshmen, the underclassman will play a significant role in the team’s future.
Sophomore Jaeyln Chao considers this year’s team to be contenders. She said, “This year’s team has a lot of potential and support from people from all different grades. There is a lot of talent within this team,”
