On Friday, September 12, Jericho will kick off its football season with a rivalry match-up against Roslyn. Last year, Jericho earned their first and only win of the season against Roslyn as they prevailed in a thriller, overcoming a 14-0 deficit, and beating Roslyn 25-21. Jericho’s running back J.P. Wang ’26 led the offense, rushing for 134 yards and three touchdowns while Quarterback Max Spector ’26 threw for 100 yards, earning a pivotal touchdown. Jericho is looking to set the tone for what should be a great season, and hope to start 1-0 for the second consecutive year in what will prove to be a great game.
Prediction: Jericho wins 26-18.
