The Mexican sandwiches from Cemita’s give you a taste of Mexican culture. This visually appealing food tastes even better than it looks. The layers of meat, cheese, lettuce, pickled onions, avocado, and special sauce is perfect to split with another person. Senior, Jordyn Berger, was amazed by the amount of vendors at Smorgasburg. “There isn’t a type of food or food group that isn’t present here. Everyone will find something they like here.” This is the beauty of the Brooklyn food market.

The brisket is cut right in front of your eyes and slightly charred on the edges to generate maximum flavor.
This assortment of flavored donuts is definitely one vendor to visit. Dun-Well Doughnuts had freshly made donuts ranging from sugar, dulce de leche, to pecan flavored.
This chocolate flavored donut with gram cracker crumbs on top is one of the most popular. “I would go back again just to eat another one of these donuts,” said freshman Jessie Garten.
