Women’s World Cup Review

First Place, Sports — Long Island Press  High School Journalism Awards 2016

The 7th Women’s World Cup took place during the summer of 2015 in Canada with a record 24 teams participating in the tournament. It was a thrilling competition and it ended on a wonderful note, with the United States Women’s National Team lifting the coveted trophy for the third time in the tournament’s history.
