Karl Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson Continue to Dominate

BY JESSE TANNER ’26

In a great Knicks basketball game, Karl Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson got a double-double on Wednesday, November 5 at Madison Square Garden.

Towns and Brunson had some help from their teammates, the energized Garden crowd, and the Knicks coaching staff. They got double-doubles because they are great three point shooters and have great footwork in the paint.

The New York have a 7-3 record, they are on a 5 game winning streak and the Knicks are a perfect 7-0 at Madison Square Garden. Throughout their winning streak the bench has been really solid. Towns and Brunson are playing like their all star selves.

ESPN said, “Karl Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson finished with double-doubles in their victory against the Timberwolves.” CBS said that, “The Knicks spoiled the return of Anthony Edwards with a 137-114 victory on Wednesday night.”  School Social Worker and HUGE Knicks fan Mr. Ray Velez said that, “ owns and Brunson are playing really solid basketball during this 5 game winning streak.”

Can Towns and Brunson continue their dominance?! Or will they start to go ice cold?! Tune in to the next New York Knicks game!
