Funny Foodies Restaurant Review with Austin & Max: Burgerology, Huntington

BY AUSTIN WEISS ’27 & MAXWELL GERSHWIND ’27

Over the weekend, we ate at one of our all time favorites: Burgerology in Huntington. There are actually multiple Burgerology locations on Long Island, including one in Massapequa, Farmingdale, and Huntington.

When we walked in, there was football on the big screen right away, which is always a good sign on an NFL Sunday. We started with two orders of their boneless buffalo wings, which were absolutely delicious. The wings were crispy and saucy, and when dipped in their house-made ranch and blue cheese, they’re another level of amazing. The blue cheese and ranch were both creamy, tangy, and excellent.

Burgerology’s boneless buffalo wings served with a generous helping of home-made blue cheese and ranch. (Maxwell Gershwind / The JerEcho).

Then came the main course: the burger. I (Max) ordered mine with cheese, lettuce, and pickles, all with a side of spicy mayo and garlic aioli. The burger was perfectly medium rare. It was served juicy and melted in my mouth. Pairing an already excellent burger with spicy mayo and garlic aioli made it even better.

During our meal, the garlic aioli was easily the best condiment; it was perfect for the fries and the burger, so whatever Burgerology put in that garlic aioli, they are doing it right. The spicy mayo was also excellent because it gave the burger a nice kick.

Overall, we both agreed that we would give the lunch a 9.2 out of 10 because the overall vibe was amazing, and the food was superb. As a disclaimer, it’s pretty impossible to get a perfect 10 with us, but Burgerology consistently delivers near-perfection.

This 9.2 was well-deserved for Burgerology, which is definitely a must-try restaurant.
