Funny Foodies Restaurant Review with Max: Manny’s Sweet Treats

Over the weekend, I ordered Manny’s Sweet Treats, a small business in Mineola that is notorious for doing crazy desserts like waffles with ice cream, pancakes with ice cream, crepes with ice cream…pretty much anything with ice cream and then even more ice cream. Any crazy breakfast and desert hybrid food you can think of, they will have.

I DoorDash’d Manny’s Sweet Treats, and I got an order of waffles with Oreos, powdered sugar, and chocolate sauce on top, with vanilla ice cream on the side. I am not lying when I say this was genuinely in the top 5 desserts I have ever tasted in my life.

Everything just worked so well together. The waffle was so warm and fluffy, it tasted like I was biting into a cloud. The lightness of the waffle paired with all of my toppings and vanilla ice cream made the dessert 1,000 times better.

Overall, I would give Manny’s Sweet Treats a 9.2 out of 10. The dessert was so good that I would easily drive 2 hours to order again. This is a must-try for any Long Island kid craving a sweet treat.
