On February 4, Jericho hosted its annual Pops Concert. During this event, students sang popular songs, generating tons of school spirit and crowd interaction. Parents, peers, and staff gathered to watch the chorus showcase their musical talent in a high-energy performance.

The full chorus performed hit songs like “Hey There Delilah” and “Rewrite the Stars,” highlighting strong harmonies. The boys brought the energy with “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” getting the audience to sing and clap along. The girls performed “In the Space Between,” with emotional storytelling.

The concert created an interactive atmosphere for families and friends to bond over music. Parent Jamshaid K. said, “I attended the concert with my sixth grader…It was heartwarming to see him enjoy it just as much, if not more.”

Students put in evident hard work and dedication to host the best performance for their families and peers. Chorus member Gracie F. ’28 said,”We prepared for this concert for months and it made me happy to see so many people in the audience enjoy it.”

To promote their production of “Mamma Mia!”, the high school’s musical cast made an appearance. They sang popular songs from the musical such as “Mamma Mia” and “Dancing Queen” to generate excitement for their musical.

Overall, the high school chorus had tremendous success with their annual Pops concert, uniting the community over a shared experience of music.
